This level is suitable for the student who has little or no knowledge of the Italian language. The goal is to teach the student to construct simple sentences about everyday life and to express themselves using few verbs (A1).
At the end of the course students will know how to ask simple information, to introduce themselves in a formal way, to speak about their own habits and jobs, to ask and to talk about hobbies and pleasures, to express admiration, and to speak about past Events (A2).
This level is suited to those who already know the Italian language; its purpose is to bring the student to build complex sentences, widening the number of words and expressions known (B1).
At the end of the course students will know how to express a request, how to express surprise and states of mind; to speak of usual actions of the past; to start a telephone conversation; to express a suggestion or a personal opinion; to physically describe a person; to speak of environment, country, trips and dreams; To speak of work and to write a CV (B2).
This level is adapted to those who know the Italian language well; the scope is to encourage students to construct quite complex phrases using a wide variety of words, expressions, and tenses (C1).
It will also improve reading comprehension and the understanding of spoken Italian. Moreover, students will learn to use the most common expressions of the Italian language, to express political opinions, to speak about publicity, Italian products – the ‘made in Italy’ label. The student will also study Italian literature. At the end of the course the student will be able to use the past participle, the subjunctive, the composed conditional, impersonal verbs and various sayings (C2).
